Top 3 Trends in Window Furnishings

Looking at a revamp or starting from scratch and wondering what is trending when it comes to window furnishings? Trends change all the time but here is what we have noticed is currently trending in Campbelltown Blinds for 2024:

Sheer Curtains and Blockout Roller Blinds

Sheer Curtains with Blockout Roller Blinds is currently the most popular product combination.  The simplicity of a roller blind sitting nice and flush within a window frame and the sheer elegance of a curtain hanging from the ceiling or just under the cornice just finishes any room in a home.

Neutral White and a touch of grey

Neutral colour tones and whites are in with the minority choosing greys. People are currently looking to keep a neutral tone throughout their home and are using blinds to keep that consistency.

Our most popular colour choices in our roller blinds are:

Avoca Off White

Sanctuary Mineral

Karma Dew

Bondi White

Balmoral Concrete

Feature pieces

We find customers are always looking for a wow factor or feature piece and often window furnishings are a way to do that. Have a theatre room? Throw in a black Plantation Shutter or a  Red Velvet Curtain. Is your living room looking fairly white and simple? Add a colored sheer curtain to the window or door. Add a Snow White Plantation Shutter to your bathroom or ensuite for a pop of brightness.
Another way to add a feature piece to your home is by changing the colour of the accessories on your blinds. For instance if you have gone with the white colour tone for your roller blinds or curtains you could jazz it up with a black bottom bar and chains or black track.

Choosing the right window furnishings can be a daunting experience but knowing what is currently trending can help immensely as it gives you a starting point.
